Watch Romeo and Juliet Return to Public Garden

Swans Romeo and Juliet made their debut at the Public Garden Tuesday afternoon.

The crowd cheered as Boston's two beloved swans, Romeo and Juliet, made their way into the Boston Public Garden lagoon Tuesday morning, at the 25th Annual Return of the Swans celebration.

Led by a brass band, the parade ran from near the "Make Way For Ducklings" statue to the George Washington statue and over the pedestrian footbridge to the lagoon, where Mayor Tom Menino welcomed the swans to their summer home.

According to the city, the swans wintered at the Franklin Park Zoo.
