Berklee's KidsJam Opens Registration Next Week

The free program for Boston kids aged 3 to 5 introduces kids to musical instruments, musical concepts and more.

KidsJam, the free interactive music education program for Boston's 3- to 5-year-olds from Berklee College of Music, is beginning registration for their spring classes.

The program is intended to introduce young children to a variety of musical activities essential to a well-rounded music education. These include singing and sound exploration, moving, playing rhythm instruments, creating, listening, and responding to music, as well as learning about a variety of musical concepts and instruments.

During this weekly workshop, Berklee music education students, led by professors Libby Allison and Charlene Ryan, practice their developing teaching skills in this fun and energetic setting.
