Boston Fashion Night and More This Weekend
Fun events for Thurs, April 28 - Sun, May 1
DINING OUT FOR LIFE
Where/When: Da Vinci Ristorante & Club Cafe, Thursday
Why Go: 25 percent of your tab goes toward the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts. Dine out, fight AIDS. Sounds like a plan.
Pricing: Make a donation here
PET ADOPTION DAY
When/Where: Audrey’s Pet Supply and Services, Saturday, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Why Go: Audrey’s is teaming up with the Animal Rescue League of Boston to sponsor a meet and greet with cats and dogs in need of a home. We’d go, but we remember the look on our landlord’s face the last time we asked if we could break the “no pets” policy, and we just can’t risk getting sucked in by those super cute, super sad eyes.
GOWNS & GLAMOUR
Where/When: Boston Bridal Lounge, Saturday, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Why Go: We know about your knot.com membership and your My Fair Wedding habit, and we’re not gonna judge. It will happen someday, sweetheart, and we know you want to be prepared. To RSVP for BBL's gown and accessory viewing, call 617-236-0005.
COLOMBIA, HERITAGE ALIVE
Where/When: John Hancock Auditorium, Saturday, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Why Go: Ballet Folklorico Juvenil Colombiano (Bajucol) presents a night of authentic music and rhythmic dances. So think Shakira, but multiplied and wearing more clothes. Tickets available here.
BOSTON FASHION NIGHT
Where/When: Starts at The Tannery, Saturday, 7 p.m.
Why Go: Shopaholics, this one's for you. The Tannery, Alex and Ani, Jack Wills and Alexis Gallery offer special in-store promotions and merchandise debuts along with food and music followed by an "exclusive" afterparty at Westin Copley Hotel. Purchase tickets here.
