Boston Man Charged With Larceny From a Vehicle on Commonwealth Avenue

A man was arrested for breaking into a car on Commonwealth Avenue.

 

Boston Police responded to a radio call for a report of a male attempting to break into cars on Commonwealth Avenue near Hereford Street at 10:47 p.m. on September 25. 

Officers stopped a man who fit the description headed down Public Alley 414 carrying multiple bags and a backpack. When the officers stopped the suspect, they found a tent and a Vera Bradley bag containing women’s clothing along with a large amount of broken glass. When officers searched the near by area, they discovered a vehicle with a broken left rear window.

Witnesses brought to the scene positively identified the suspect as the person they saw breaking into cars on Commonwealth Avenue.

Pedro Antonio Badillo of 39 Boylston Street was arrested and charged with larceny of $200 or more from a vehicle.
