'Boston Strong' Group Photo in Copley Square Tuesday

Students behind the t-shirt campaign are set to turn over almost $900,000 to the One Fund Boston.

The Emerson College students behind the "Boston Strong" t-shirt campaign want to gather supporters in Copley Square Tuesday evening for huge group photo.

According to an event posted on Facebook, people are asked to don their blue and yellow "Boston Strong" t-shirts at 6 p.m. for the photo.

On their Facebook page, the group said they've closed their t-shirt campaign after raising over $893,000 for the One Fund Boston through the sales of the shirt in the eight weeks since the Boston Marathon bombings.

They said they will be handing over the check to the One Fund Tuesday, and hope after the photo is taken people will take the chance to reflect at the memorial at Copley.

The students, Nicholas Reynolds and Chris Dobens, told Boston Magazine Monday they wanted to do something more than just hand over the check to mark the occasion.

Reynolds told Boston Magazine he'll be wearing his "Boston Strong" shirt all day Tuesday and hopes people will do the same.

According to Emerson College, the two students are credited with coining the phrase that has become so prevalent since April 15.
