Breaking and Entering Reported on Stanhope Street

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department.

 

Police are searching for a suspect who stole $390 from the Zocalo Restaurant at 35 Stanhope Street on December 7 at 10:31 a.m.

Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at 35 Stanhope Street. Officers spoke with the General Manager, who stated that someone had entered the basement between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on December 6.

The General Manager said that $390 was missing from the safe. The General Manager stated that the lock had been tampered with and was difficult to operate.

This investigation is ongoing.
