Five Things: Frog Pond Opens on Friday, Deep Fried Turkeys

The Frog Pond opens for skating this week with an opening celebration Nov. 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. that will include performances by professional and gold-medal skaters, as well as an appearance by Frog Pond Freddie and activities for the entire family. 3. Deep frying a turkey is not for someone who is faint of heart, and it may be hard to find outdoor space sufficient to attempt this. Summer Shack is offering, for take out with advance orders, Deep Fried Turkey, just like someone's Southern mama made at home. It's $75 for a 14 - 16 pound turkey, more with trimmings. 5. It's Boston Cyber Week this week, which means plenty of opportunities to learn more about internet security. On Tuesday, seniors are invited to a forum on cybersecurity at the Boston Public Library from 4:30-5:30pm.
