Five Things You Need to Know Today, Tuesday, September 11

Here are five things going on in and around town today.

 

1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts a warm, sunny day with a high of 76. Then evening will be cool with a low of 54.

    2. 9/11 Anniversary: The City will hold memorials for the attacks on 9/11. Click here to see what is going on today. 

    3. Exhibition: Wendy Maruyama's "Tag Project/Executive Order 9066": FRD signed Executive Order 9066 on February 19, 1942, which authorized the internment of thousands of Japanese Americans. Wendy Maruyama presents her exhibition at the Society of Arts and Crafts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..

     4. Creating A Resume Online: Building a resume is tricky. The BPL is offering a free course on creating a resume from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

    5. CWE Community Entrepreneurs Program: Visioning: The Center for Women and Enterprise is offering courses on entrepreneurship. The cost for four courses is $135 from 6 to 9 p.m.
