Food Truck Fail in Boston

Many were nowhere to be seen on launch day.

Yesterday was the first time 15 food trucks to grill up some "wicked good food" at locations in Boston neighborhoods - including six spots in the Back Bay.

But Boston.com reports "at least nine" of the trucks were a no-show, leaving residents with cravings for things like Red Bones in Somerville, and various kinds of cupcakes.

The businesses blamed it on truck repairs, delays in permits, and needing more time to prepare - like installing a GPS system and printing on-the-go menus.
