Green Line Running Again After Boylston Street Accident This Morning

The MBTA says to expect 20- to 25-minute delays as they get back up to speed.

Two hours after the Green Line shut down at Boylston Street station due to a collision, the stop is up and running again.

The station shut after two E Line trolleys collided at 11:48 a.m., causing neck and head injuries to some passengers. Emergency medical workers treated the injured on the scene and police investigated why one trolley hit another.

Neither train was derailed and no damage was done to the cars, according to a Globe report.

The MBTA is advising customers to expect 20- to 25-minute delays as it resumes service.
