Occupy Boston Protest and March To Create Delays Downtown

Find out the marching route of the "Occupy Boston" protest so you can join it or avoid it.

Thousands of protesters from Occupy Boston, a group against "white-collar hooliganism and inequality" that has targeted Wall Street as a "corrupter of democracy," will take to the streets in Boston - mainly in the FinancialDistrict.

The march will start in the Common, and the Mayor's office issued a traffic advisory saying drivers should plan of delays from this afternoon and through the weekend, when it ends.

The Boston Police Department is aware of the event and officers will be on hand throughout the duration of the march to supervise the activity and to secure detour routes for drivers as necessary. City of Boston officials are also working with local businesses to keep them informed.
