Panera Bread to Open on May 24

The Boylston Street restaurant will offer free wi-fi and a heated outdoor patio.

Panera Bread, set to open next week, will offer free wi-fi, a heated outdoor patio, and fresh bread delivered daily from the company's Fresh Dough Facility in Franklin.

The new, flagship bakery and cafe at 450 Boylston Street is the restaurant's 39th location in greater Boston, and is anticipating more than 1,000 customers each weekday. With the Boylston Street bakery café, Panera Bread now employs over 2,000 people in Massachusetts.

“Boylston Street is the perfect location for Panera’s new flagship bakery-café,” said Gregg Godfrey, joint venture area director of Panera Bread. “We’re honored by the warm reception we’ve received as we’ve quickly grown to become part of the community fabric in New England, especially in Greater Boston. We look forward to being more involved with the Back Bay neighborhood and the close-knit community that both work and live in this dynamic area.”
