Quincy Man Arrested at Back Bay Station

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not imply conviction.

 

Officers observed a known suspect selling newspapers outside the Back Bay T station on Dartmouth Street at about 12:15 p.m. on Friday, January 25.

Officers had tried to serve the suspect for outstanding warrants at his home, but were unsuccessful.    

The suspect was wanted on three outstanding warrants out of Quincy District Court for harassment prevention, operating an uninsured vehicle with an obstructed license plate, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.

Officers arrested William McCarthy of 54 Appleton Street, Quincy on the strength of these warrants.
