Passengers are complaining of head and neck pain after a green line trolley bumped into another at Boylston Street station, the Boston Globe is reporting.
The station remains closed as emergency medical workers evaluate riders after the 11:48 a.m. crash.
According to a witness interviewed by the Globe, customers were getting off an E Line train at the station when another E Line train collided with it.
MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said that neither train derailed and there was no damage, according to the Globe.
Pesaturo has not returned calls from Patch seeking comment.
"Customers desiring downtown service should utilize Haymarket, Downtown Crossing, Back Bay, and North Station to make downtown connections," wrote the T in its service alert...

Green Line passengers at Hynes, Copley, and Arlington desiring outbound Cleveland Circle- and Riverside-Branch service should utilize any train to Kenmore and transfer to the C- and D-Line. Green Heath Street passengers should utilize the Route 39 bus service."

James Sokolove's phone will be ringing a lot today. no damage to the train cars, no derailment, should mean no injuries. but not on the T, some of the passengers will beleve that they just hit the T lottery. add one very minor accident, one beadbeat and one bottom feeding lawyer, and you get a nice payout for no pain or effort.
