Attend KidsJam at Berklee, stand up for LGBT equality, and listen to live jazz.
1. Jam out with KidsJam, a free Berklee College of Music program where education students, led by faculty members, practice their teaching skills with 2-5-year-olds in this fun and interactive setting. Cafe 939, 939 Boylston Street, 11 a.m.
2. Support diversity by attending a Join the Impact MA meeting at Fisher College. The organization is committed to full equality for lesbian, gay,
bisexual, transgender, and queer identified people. Fisher College, 118 Beacon St., 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
3. Tune in to some live jazz. And take in the skyline view at Top of the Hub, in the Prudential Center. Featuring two jazz trios from 8:30pm–12:30am, first up is the Bob Nieske Band, known for playful improvation, and popular among regulars. Then, don't miss, Marty Ballou a sought after session man, who plays everything from jazz, to blues to folk. He's recorded with jazz legends Jay McShann and Jimmy Witherspoon, and performed at venues like the Monterey Jazz Festival and San Francisco Jazz and Blues Festival.
