The operator of the pickup truck was taken to Cambridge Hospital with non life threatening injuries, and the operator of the SUV was not injured. The Mass Ave. Bridge was closed for about four hours. The crash is still under investigation, but alcohol does not appear to be a factor, state police said.

Also responding to the scene were the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section, State Police Crime Scene Services, State Police Detectives from the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office and Boston EMS.
