Win a Date With Boston Fire Dept's Most Eligible Bachelors

A few of Boston's bravest firefighters are offering themselves up this week to a few generous donors. This Thursday 10 of the city's bachelor firefighters will be auctioned off for dinner dates. The event is a fundraiser for the department's "Fill the Boot" drive to support MDA, a voluntary health agency that is fighting 43 different neuromuscular diseases through research and education.

• What:    $10 at the door, which includes two drinks courtesy of Bacardi and Sam Adams, access to the patio cook-out and the chance to win a date with one of Boston’s most eligible fire fighters

• When:    Cook out 4-8 p.m., auction 8-10 p.m., Thursday June 9
