October 16-20 marks this year’s CMJ Music Marathon, New York City’s largest music festival. And guess what? Some of Berklee College of Music’s alumni and students will be performing as part of the annual event.
On October 19th, Berklee College of Music, Heavy Rotation Records (HRR), and Berkleemusic present their sixth annual CMJ Music Marathon Showcase at 92YTribeca in New York.
Berklee’s showcase features rock, indie-pop, singer-songwriter, electro-pop, R&B, and hip-hop with performances by Shea Rose, Measure, Red Oblivion (HRR), Gina’s Picture Show, Bent Knee (HRR), Golden Bloom, and the Field Effect. Check out Berklee’s CMJ Showcase Sampler for streaming and free downloads from all of the artists.
The event includes free raffles for a chance to win a badge to attend next year’s CMJ Music Marathon and merchandise giveaway from Heavy Rotation Records (HRR), Berklee’s student-run record label.
The all-ages show is free for CMJ badge holders and $10 for the general public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. 92YTribeca is located at 200 Hudson St., New York, New York. For more information, please call 212 601-1000 or visit 92Y.org/Tribeca.
