Something I love about Berklee College of Music is its diversity. Musicians from all over the world arrive to the United States to attend the school, which leads to some really exceptional ensembles. On January 28, Berklee presents Homeland Security: Celebrating Contemporary and Traditional African Music and Dance, a concert which will include music, stories, and dancing by students from Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, and South Africa. The program will feature original songs written by the students about their homelands and life stories, and a performance by Berklee’s West African Drum and Dance Ensemble.

The show will take place on Monday, January 28 at 8:15pm at the Berklee Performance Center.
