Summer Fit & Flow will be your fitness and food guide to increased summer energy! Join OMBE's Holistic Health & Nutrition Counselor, Stacey Nussbaum, and certified fitness and yoga instructor, Kristy Kuhn, for this FREE one-hour workshop that includes a fitness class and nutrition discussion on Wednesday, July 11th from 7:30pm-8:30pm. How do you know Summer Fit & Flow is right for YOU?  If you struggle with your weight, what to eat, stress management, fatigue, mental fogginess, or you need to refresh your summer workout and eating routine, you have come to the right place!  

Imagine what your life would be like if you learned how to ride the wave of your summer energy!  After Summer Fit & Flow, you will better understand how to eat and move to support your body's needs during the summer months.

We will take you through and you will learn:  

  • dynamic exercises, flowing yoga postures and breathing techniques to safely build up heat and challenge your muscles
  • exercises and yoga postures to cool down your muscles and nervous system on hot, summer days or when you're overheated
  • what happens in your body hormonally during your internal summer season
  • the foods to avoid and the foods that help support your body during the summer months

Stacey is a Holistic Health & Nutrition Counselor certified by the Academy of Healing Nutrition in New York City and the owner and founder of The Healthy Beet. Like you, Stacey has been on a journey to transform herself into the healthiest and happiest person possible. She was inspired to embark on this journey while working in NYC as a lawyer.  Stacey provides nutritional counseling in a variety of areas including women’s health, weight management, athletic training, and gastrointestinal disorders and many other chronic health conditions. She specializes in women’s health conditions including PCOS, infertility, endometriosis, PMS, and other gynecological issues. Her commitment is to teach you to live a healthy, balanced life through proper nutrition.  Stacey will help you to view food as your body’s fuel and medicine and show you how to incorporate specific medicinal foods for optimal metabolism, health and energy.   Since there is no one diet that works for everyone, Stacey will provide you with menu plans developed specifically for you based on your metabolic type and food exercises. She will show you how to adapt your eating and lifestyle habits to align with your health goals. You will explore new healthy and flavorsome ways of eating and cooking that will allow you to enjoy life and feel fabulous! 


Kristy is a certified yoga teacher and personal trainer based in Boston, MA. Teaching naturally evolved out of Kristy's love for movement and her desire to provide others with the opportunity to experience the wonderful benefits of yoga, fitness and dance. She views her role as that of a guide who assists students along their path toward greater self-awareness and improved health.  Kristy strives to provide a warm, fun, supportive environment with safe sequencing. Students of all levels can turn their focus inward and openly embrace the present moment by experiencing the subtleties of breath and alignment. 
She received her 500-hour yoga teacher certification through YogaWorks in NYC and is registered through Yoga Alliance.  She is also a certified Health/Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine and a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise.  Kristy additionally holds a Masters in Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and dance minor from Bucknell University where she taught as a Visiting Assistant Professor in 2009 and 2011.  Kristy continues to dance with Weber Dance and choreograph, and loves integrating her passions for movement, science and learning through her studies of various movement disciplines.
