The Fox Point Music Series, presented by WUMB and Berklee College of Music, will bring free live acoustic performances by Berklee students and alumni to Dorchester every Sunday in August. Sponsored by Natixis Global Asset Management, the new series is a part of Berklee Summer in the City, which features over 100 free concerts throughout the Boston area this summer.
This Sunday's show features the Dwells, a neo-Americana/folk duo — Paige Califano and Matthew Beanwith — whose blended vocals and memorable lyrics are influenced by such artists as Gram Parsons and Ryan Adams.
The Fox Point Series takes place at Fox Point Pavillion, 100 Morrissey Blvd, Dorchester, MA. The free concert starts at 2 p.m on Sunday, August 5.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll be there every Sunday because any free concert featuring Berklee students is too good to pass up.
