Celebrate Heritage: Bosnian Iftar
The AIC Center, 38 Newbury St Ste 702, Boston, MA | Get Directions »
$15.00
AIC and our partners at the New England Friends of Bosnia and Herzegovina present “Celebrate Bosnia,” a Ramadan reprisal of this spring’s hit Bosnian Intercultural Mixer. We’ll break fast with Bosnian cuisine as we come together in celebration of Boston’s vibrant Bosnian community. This event will also feature traditional folk music and dance! For the past two years this event has been SOLD OUT! Space is limited – reserve your ticket today!
As Ramadan’s month-long fast instills a special appreciation for giving, proceeds from the event will be donated to the Pine Street Inn, a local homeless shelter. During last year’s “Help End Hunger” campaign, we donated over 400 pounds of cereal on behalf of the AIC community. This year, our goal is to triple our impact by raising $5,000 – enough to donate over 1,500 pounds of food to the Pine Street Inn.
