More About Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is one of the largest museums in the country. It features a vast collection of prints, drawings, musical instruments, textiles, contemporary art, photography, paintings and more. Its pieces come from all over the world, including the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. The museum also hosts an art academy, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and operates the Nagoya/Boston Museum of Fine Arts in Japan. A film program at the museum shows international cinema and independent films, as well as special screenings and film festivals. Live musical performances are also held in the courtyard.
