Top of the Hub has extended its Toast To The Amalfi Coast! for a second time. The restaurant's special three-course, prix-fixe Italian menu, created via a culinary collaboration between Executive Chef Mark Porcaro and Executive Chef Vincent Esposito from Hotel Villa Franca in Positano, Italy, has been extended through June 13. (Chef Esposito traveled to Boston to co-host two popular Positano wine events with Chef Porcaro at Top of the Hub in March.)
The tempting, themed menu is priced at $58 per person ($78 paired with a selection of fine wines). Top of the Hub's traditional menu of favorites will also be available, as usual. Reservations are available by calling 6 1 7 - 5 3 6 - 1 7 7 5.
As part of the international culinary exchange program, Chef Porcaro has been invited to Villa Franca in Italy to create a similar series of events and menus with Chef Esposito.

This restaurant offers perhaps the best view in Boston. Partnered with the Skywalk Observatory, Top of the Hub is located on the top floor of the Prudential Tower. Offering fine dining with an eclectic twist, dishes reflect a variety of influences including local, West Coast and Asian.
Popular items from the chef's tasting menu include Crab Louis, foie gras torchon and pan seared scallops. The three-course prix fixe menu is another good choice and there is a dedicated menu for vegetarian and vegan diners.
