Exclusive CUSP Event in Partnership with Berklee

Love fashion or music? Perhaps both? Then you don’t want to miss out on this exciting event! CUSP by Neiman Marcus launches an exclusive three-day event with Berklee College of Music starting tonight. The event celebrates rocker chic trends and three female performers who not only embody the look, but are rising stars, becoming more popular by the minute.

Tonight, Betty Who kicks off the event from 6-8pm. You may recognize her sound from the recently-gone-viral “Home Depot proposal” video. Betty Who was named “one of the year’s major ones to watch” by MTV, who premiered her latest video. Now, Betty Who is an official major label pop star as she recently signed with RCA Records, where she will record her debut album.

Friday evening from 5-7pm, pop/rock artist Melanie Lynx performs. Lynx participated in Hollywood Week on Fox’s American Idol and has since been featured in countless blogs including Perez Hilton, Love Twenty, and Her Campus, and was selected to be part of Live Music Week for WERS!

Berklee alumna Shea Rose closes the event on Saturday afternoon from 2-4pm. A former music critic at the Globe describes her as “that rare artist who can bridge diverse styles such as soul, funk, rock, rap and jazz – and brings her unique stamp to each.” Her sound and style is described as the female Lenny Kravitz meets Lauryn Hill with a splash of Betty Davis.

In addition to these incredible performers, Neiman Marcus will feature informal modeling of the rocker chic looks of the season, and will offer a gift with purchase of a rocker chic chain mesh necklace.
