This Saturday, August 3rd marks a beginning of a series! UMass Boston’s WUMB 91.9 FM and Berklee College of Music have teamed up to present WUMB and Berklee Concerts at Carson Beach, bringing free live music to Dorchester Saturdays in August between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.
The first concert features Joe’s Truck Stop, which includes Joseph Macheret and Lucy Cochran. The duo’s unique sound is characterized by bluegrass vocal harmonies, twin fiddle lines, driving Appalachian dance tunes, and lonely honky tonk songs.
