This Saturday, July 27th from 4 to 6PM

Where:
The Roxbury YMCA, Multi-Purpose Room,
285 Martin Luther King Boulevard

What:
In an effort to develop an informed and effective agenda for action to address the issues that Boston's young people face in their communities and schools, Charlotte will be meeting with young leaders who represent a number of respected city youth programs.

The session's interactive format will encourage Boston's young leaders to speak on the issues that are most important to them, and to advise Charlotte on what they feel needs to be done to improve their lives and their neighborhoods.

This event is part of Charlotte’s ongoing effort to engage young people as partners in confronting the challenging issues they face such as violence, gangs, and the lack of vocational and educational opportunities.

Through this kind of direct communication and partnership with local youth, the Richie Administration plans to set a new course for Boston's neighborhoods that is based on what they can contribute to creating a more peaceful and productive community.
