Congressional candidate Katherine Clark visits Perkins

Congressional candidate Katherine Clark and Perkins President Steven Rothstein cheer on competitors in a Turkey Trot race on Perkins' campus in Watertown, Mass. The race featured students and staffers, and was organized as a fundraiser by the Deafblind Program's senior class. Clark visited Perkins on Nov. 21 for a whirlwind tour, where she learned about its array of programs for people with visual impairments, including its historic School for the Blind, community education initiatives, international partnerships and more. Clark, a state senator representing the Fifth Middlesex district, is the Democratic candidate in the Dec. 11 special Congressional election.
