Footloose: The Musical

Berklee’s Musical Theater Club presents Footloose: The Musical, based on the hit 1984 movie that made Kevin Bacon a star and featured chart-topping songs including “Let’s Hear it for the Boy,” “Almost Paradise,” “Holding Out for a Hero,” and the title track.

Students leading the 22-member cast and 13-piece pit orchestra include director/choreographer Tre’von Griffith, musical director Max Wolpert, and assistant musical directors Patrick Hoagland and Jake Ohlbaum.  Berklee’s Musical Theater Club has 200 members each year, with more than 100 students currently working on four different upcoming productions.

Footloose: The Musical was originally produced on Broadway in 1998 and nominated for four Tony Awards the following year.
