BOSTON, Mass., September 15, 2012 - Start-up fitness and dating website SingleFitPeople.com hosts its first annual Adventure Race with all proceeds going to local charities. Teams of two will venture throughout Boston on a hunt for 10 clues at FIT-Point locations and will have to participate in a mental or physical challenge. The race starts at 11:00am and will last a maximum of 6 hours (until 5:00pm). Participants can bring partners, start a team, or allow our SFP team of cupids to pair you up! Sign up online at http://sfpadventurerace.eventbrite.com/.

Teams will receive clues via text message as they race to win Red Sox Tickets, a date-night dinner at Scampo, a $100 cash prize, or a $75 gift cert to VeeVee. The race will begin and end at Lir, a bar located at 903 Boylston Street, for the after party. Participants will need a cell phone with internet access and for digital photos.

All proceeds and ticket sales will be donated to About Face Healing (http://aboutfacehealing.org) and Physicians for Haiti (www.physiciansforhaiti.org). About Face Healing is an organization of collaborative practitioners that use CarnioSacral Treatment in order to help young and old veterans heal through a holistic method. Physicians For Haiti is a group of physicians and health professionals who work to foster sustainable progress in Haiti by providing Haitian
physicians and nurses with high-quality continuing medical education (CME), leadership training, and professional development opportunities.  Our long-term vision is of a vibrant, dynamic medical education community in Haiti, which will serve as a foundational
pillar as Haiti “builds back better.
