Boston Ballet Free Performance on Common Sept. 21

"Night of Stars" performance coming as Boston Ballet celebrates its 50th year.

Boston Ballet's Night of Stars is coming to Boston Common Saturday, Sept. 21 for a free performance starting at 7 p.m.

You can watch a teaser video of the performance for Boston Ballet, which is celebrating its 50th year, above.

According to Boston Ballet, the company will perform "a range of classical, neo-classical, and contemporary favorites, such as George Balanchine's Serenade and Symphony in Three Movements, and Jorma Elo's Brake the Eyes, among others."

In case of rain, the performance will be held the next night, Sunday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m.
