Copley Place Names New Property Manager

Simon Property Group recently announced the promotion of Matthew Bourassa to property manager of Copley Place in Back Bay.

Bourassa previously served as the mall manager at Square One Mall in Saugus, Mass., and Northgate Mall in Seattle, Wash.

Simon Property Group said Bourassa "will primarily be responsible for business operations, financial management and leasing of the center’s  800,000 square foot office building."

“Matt was selected to fill this integral and demanding position due to his proven skills, mindset and experience with Simon in his prior position, knowledge of the region, and also his enthusiasm that he brings to his job each day,” said Brian Jenkins, Regional Vice President for the New England Region of Simon Property Group, in a statement.

According to Simon, Bourassa previously worked on development projects as Retail Operations Manager at Boston’s Logan International Airport. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing from Southern New Hampshire University, and currently resides in Georgetown.
