Four Months After Bombing, Forum Gets Back in Business

The Boylston Street restaurant is the last business to reopen after be affected by the Boston Marathon bombings.

It took exactly four months, but Forum, the Boylston Street restaurant damaged by the second Boston Marathon bomb blast, will be back in business Thursday.

Forum, at 755 Boylston St. in the heart of Back Bay, will return with a special reopening party Thursday before reopening to the public in time for dinner Friday.

Forum is the final business near the sites of the bombing blasts to reopen.

According to their website, Forum will be celebrating with members of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation who were at the restaurant at the time of the bombings.

The former New England Patriots offensive lineman's foundation works to help cancer patients and their families.

Forum will reopen with a completely-remodeled interior and set-up as well as a new menu from new chef Dan Schroeder.

"We are eternally thankful to the city of Boston for the overwhelming outpour of support, words of encouragement, loving messages, and all of those who stood by us as we tackled this very complex and traumatic part of our lives," the restaurant wrote on their website earlier this month.
