A public meeting regarding the major redevelopment project at the Christian Science Plaza in Back Bay will be held by the Boston Redevelopment Authority Thursday.

According to a notice available above, the meeting will be held at the Christian Science Publishing House, 210 Massachusetts Ave. at 6 p.m.

The project is proposed to include the construction of two buildings on Belvidere and Dalton Streets totaling approximately 950,000 square feet.

One will be a high-rise structure with approximately 58 floors, 250 guest rooms for a hotel, 170 residential units and a total of 712,500 square feet.

The other will be a mid-rise structure with approximately 25 stories, 255 residential units and 1,800 square feet of retail space along Belvidere Street. That building is estimated to be about 237,500 square feet.

Included in the project is the creation of 4,400 square feet of public open space at the intersection of Dalton and Saint Germain Street.

The public comment period for the project will be closing Sept. 6, according to the BRA notice.
