WRMS' 2nd Annual Holiday Stroll on Saturday

All participating businesses will be offering promotions such as a free slice of pizza, wine tasting and more.


West Roxbury Main Streets' 2nd Annual Holiday Stroll will take place on Saturday to support West Roxbury businesses this holiday season.

All participating businesses will offer promotions and/or give-a-ways. The stroll kicks off at where Santa will be from noon to 1 p.m. You can also get a free slice of pizza from , and enjoy a wine tasting at .

The stroll ends at the from 4-5 p.m., for appetizers, cocktails, and raffle prizes.

"We're attending because my kids can't wait to tell Santa what they want for Christmas, and we're looking forward to doing some shopping at retailers like , , and ," said Michael Loconto, WRMS board president. "The free pizza at Upper Crust will be great for the kids, and while I'm not eligible, I hope to see a lot of raffle winners at the after-party at the West Roxbury Pub. Anyone who turns in a completed passport after the stroll is eligible to win a $100 American Express gift card from , gift certificates to restaurants and businesses across the district, and other great prizes."

You can get a stamp in your Holiday Stroll Passport at every business you visit, and for every stamp in your passport you will get one ticket for the raffle.

Holiday Stroll Passports are available at WRMS' website at www.wrms.org starting on Dec. 3. Or you can get your passport when you start the stroll at West On Centre. Passports are free and you must have a passport to receive give-a-ways and promotions.

We've just received two tickets to the final Pats game of the season (versus the Bills - 6 rows from the field!) that will be the grand prize in the raffle, courtesy of an anonymous donor. The more businesses you visit on the Stroll, the more chances you have to win!
