Hammond Agent Dana DeSimone Named Exclusive Listing Agent for 121 West Newton Street Development

Boston, MA – February 24, 2014 – David Stenberg, manager of Hammond Residential Real Estate’s South End office, recently announced that senior sales associate Dana DeSimone has been named as the exclusive listing agent in connection with 121 West Newton Street, a new residential development in Boston’s South End neighborhood.

Currently under development by Renaissance Real Estate Investments with an expected completion date of Spring, 2014, 121 West Newton Street is a five-story building that will consist of a Penthouse Duplex and a Parlor Triplex. Each unit will measure approximately 1,665 and 2,536 square feet, respectively, and feature high-end finishes such as  designer kitchens and bathrooms, remote controlled environments, custom closets, quartz countertops, and new mechanical systems. The building’s central location will offer residents access to all the City of Boston has to offer.

Dana DeSimone said, “I’m pleased to be named as the exclusive listing agent for 121 West Newton Street, which is poised to be one of the finest residential projects in the South End this year. Having previously marketed renovated townhouses in the neighborhood on behalf of Renaissance - 26 Milford Street and 34 Dwight Street - I can attest to the high-level of quality, craftsmanship, and detail that 121 West Newton Street will feature. In a market where supply is low, we anticipate a great deal of interest in these units.”

Renaissance Real Estate Investments was founded in 2001 by Lewis Legon in Salem, and since then the company has concentrated on renovating historic or overlooked buildings that are in need of repurposing and renovations, transforming them into high-end residences. Over the past few years, Renaissance has expanded its reach and focus to Boston, specifically the South End neighborhood. The company has completed projects ranging from two to eight unit buildings, and strives for optimal space utilization along with the ability to construct modern infrastructure and amenities sought-after by today’s buyers. Several Renaissance projects have been historic re-creations in historic neighborhoods, and the company’s use of an experienced team of contractors and suppliers has resulted in the creation of outstanding living spaces.
