The Commnity Builders, Inc. Names Maria Pietroforte Senior Vice President of Property Management

Boston – July 24, 2014 The Community Builders, Inc. (TCB), one of America's leading nonprofit developers of mixed-income housing, has named Maria Pietroforte senior vice president of property management. Reporting to Bart Mitchell, president and CEO, Pietroforte serves as a member of the TCB leadership team and direct operation of a residential real estate portfolio that includes family, senior and mixed-use developments in 14 states and Washington, D.C.

Pietroforte is an accomplished real estate and property management executive. Prior to joining TCB, she served as senior vice president of property management for Corvias Group in East Greenwich, R.I. Her previous experience also includes senior leadership roles at Kettler, Inc., E & S Management Corporation and Move.com.

“Maria has an impressive track record of innovation,” said Mitchell. “She will bring valuable experience and energy to the TCB property management organization as we pursue a path of operational growth and best-in-class performance. We are excited to welcome her to TCB.”

Pietroforte’s appointment is the latest in a series of recent milestones in TCB’s property management business. The company was named an inaugural multifamily partner in the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Better Buildings Challenge in 2013. The same year, TCB became a Community of Quality® corporate partner with the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA). The company has more than 60 sites with a Community of Quality designation.
