Meet Baby Jet!
He is a playful, energetic, & super sweet 7-month-old lab mix that weighs 22 lbs.
Jet is a very special puppy and cannot wait to have a family to call his own. Jet gets along well with other dogs and cats and would blossom in a home where he has other animals to pal around with. He is friendly with people, but does get nervous in new situations so he needs a home that is going to provide the reassurance and socialization that this little guy needs. His favorite thing to do is hug people where he puts one paw on either shoulder and kisses your face. Jet loves going to the dog park, playing with his toys, and going for car rides. At the end of a long day, Jet would like nothing better than to snuggle up with his person on the couch and watch a movie.
As a young puppy, Jet was diagnosed with a serious heart murmur and has since been in foster care waiting until he was old enough to have a follow-up echocardiogram with a cardiologist. Since then, his heart has corrected itself and grown large enough to account for his previous condition. He now barely has a heart murmur and was given a clean bill of health from his cardiologist. Jets heart will need to be monitored periodically in his new home to ensure that his condition does not return and he takes an affordable medication daily. If you are interested in Jet, the staff is happy to answer any questions that you have about his prior condition. He really is one of the sweetest pups you will ever meet. He is a very happy little dog who aims to please.
