Celtic's Stiemsma Bartending at Towne

1. More rain is possible after 11 a.m., but for the most part it should be partly sunny with a high near 55, and windy, with gusts up to 28 mph. The evening will start out cloudy and become clear later in the night, with a low around 41.

2. Boston Celtic's Greg Stiemsma will be behind the bar at tonight, hosting celebrity bartender benefit for the Young Audiences of Massachusetts, a nonprofit that provides students with access to art programs. He'll be serving from 7 – 9pm. A $50 donation to the organization includes complimentary beer, wine and light hors d’oeuvres. Purchase tickets.

3. Speaking of celebrities, fashion designer Nicole Richie at 6 p.m., celebrating the grand opening of National Jean Company in Boston. Creative director of fashion lines House of Harlow and Winter Kate, as well as judge on “Fashion Star," Richie will be on hand as pieces of her spring collection are showcased in an informal fashion show followed by an exclusive VIP after party.

4. Northeastern will host a Veterans Job Fair today from 1 - 4 p.m., designed to connect U.S. military veterans with more than 150 local, national and global hiring companies. Lt. Governor Tim Murray will be there from 1:15 - 2 p.m. and the event is in the university's Cabot Center on 400 Huntington Ave.
