Man Charged With Trespassing on Dartmouth Street

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Boston Police observed a suspect known to the police at the front door of a 7-11 on Dartmouth Street on October 7 at 8:54 p.m..

The suspect was carrying a cup in his hand and was soliciting patrons of the store and other pedestrians for spare change. The clerk of the store asked the man to leave because he was trespassing several times, even in the presence of an officer. The man had been warned, cited and arrested at this location several times but continuously returns despite police attempts at enforcement.

Police arrested Jose Carabello of 444 Harrison Avenue and charged him with trespassing. In addition to the arrest, Carabello will be issued a City Ordinance Violation.
