Poll: Back Bay Has the Most Cheatin' Hearts?
The neighborhood is ranked #1 in Boston for cheating according to a dating website for married men and women.
The website AshleyMadison.com, which connects married people looking to have affairs, ranks Back Bay as the number one Boston neighborhood for infidelity.
Founder and Chief Executive Noel Biderman told Boston.com it basically comes to down to 'more money, more problems.' With a higher percentage of affairs reported in affluent neighborhoods (or just pick up a tabloid for the latest celebrity gossip), it's no surprise that Beacon Hill follows that trend as number two.
“Those lifestyles come with so many more opportunities as opposed to a traditional lifestyle,” Biderman told Boston.com. “An affair isn’t always a cheap undertaking."

Time apart and financial independence also play an important role, he said. Overall, Boston was ranked as the 7th most popular city for cheating, based on Ashley Madison membership. With 165,000 users, that's about 26 percent of the city's population.
