Still No Parking, Still No School

And more to know today, Feb. 12.

1. No School Today: Boston Public Schools announced last night that there would be no school today. The city is still at work clearing bus routes and removing snow from school facilities. 

2. Boston Parking Ban Still in Effect: As of Tuesday morning, Boston's Snow Emergency Parking ban is still in effect. That means you still can't park on these streets. We'll keep you posted when the ban is eventually lifted. 

3. Noa promo: Now through February 14, choose anything red or heart-shaped at noa jewelry, fine handcrafts and gifts, at 88 Charles St., and they will donate 10 percent of the retail price to the Beacon Hill Civic Association.

4. State of the Union: President Barack Obama will deliver his fifth “State of the Union” address tonight at 9 p.m. Check out this list of Boston area television stations that will be airing the speech.

5. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting a mostly sunny day with a high of 45 degrees.
