Julie Otsuka Q&A and Reading

The Ploughshares/Emerson Writing, Literature & Publishing Department's Reading Series presents author Julie Otsuka. She's also doing a Q&A at 4pm in the Charles Beard Room, 80 Boylston St, Emerson College, Boston, MA. Later she will be doing a reading at 8pm in the Bill Bordy theater, 216 Tremont St.

Julie Otsuka is the author of the novels When the Emperor Was Divine and The Buddha in the Attic. She is a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Asian American Literary Award, and the PEN/Faulkner Award. The Buddha in the Attic was also a finalist for the National Book Award.
