The Organ: King of the Instruments. A Free Festival for Families and Children.

The American Guild of Organists invites families and students to a free and fun event in Boston on Saturday, June 21 celebrating one of music's most astounding instruments, the organ. Come join organists Johnathan Ortloff and Peter Krasinski in Old South Church (645 Boylston St.) between 10:00 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. to see the organ in action, with free performances from Peter and the Wolf, as well as sing-alongs from The Sound of Music, The Little Mermaid, and The Wizard of Oz. Then Join us again at 7:00 p.m. just a short walk away at the Church of the Covenant (67 Newbury St.) for two silent comedic films, Cops and Speedy, with live organ accompaniment; both events are free and all are welcome to attend.

MBTA: Take the Green Line to Copley Station, or Bus Route 9,
10, 39, 55, 57, or 107. Old South Church is just across Boylston St. from the
BPL, and the Church of the Covenant is a short walk away on Newbury St.
