Charlie Baker recently released a new web video, "We Have Work To Do," in conjunction with his Great Again Massachusetts tour featuring Robert Lewis Jr., founder of The BASE. In the video, Robert backs Charlie's campaign and talks about Charlie's involvement with Boston-area youth. Lewis, a registered Democrat, has a long career working with urban youth to combat violence and improve their lives by leveraging sports, education, and teamwork. The BASE empowers student athletes from Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan and other urban areas to "build champs on and off the field."
"Robert does so much for young people in Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan and other urban areas - and I am proud to have his support," said Charlie Baker. "Massachusetts is a great place, filled with great people like Robert who refuse to settle for anything less than success and I am running to make sure families in every corner of the state have the opportunity to succeed."
