Richie Calls for Inclusiveness
Monday night’s first major Boston mayoral debate at Suffolk University’s Modern Theatre promises to be interesting.
The candidates will face questions on a number of hot issues in the race, ranging from education to crime. All 12 candidates have been invited to participate, amid calls by some to possibly limit or consolidate the large field.

Charlotte Golar Richie, the solo female candidate in the race, has already appealed to the organizers of other similar events to "allow all candidates to speak to these critical issues."
The forum will be hosted by NECN anchor Latoyia Edwards and streamed live on bostonherald.com and on Boston Herald Radio. The Herald’s Joe Battenfeld and NECN political reporter Alison King will be asking questions.
