Boston police arrested a man and a woman on Thursday after they allegedly robbed Dunkin Donuts in the Back Bay area armed with a gun and wearing a wig, according to BPD.

The arrest occurred after a Boston police officer on detail in the area received a report of an armed robbery in the area of Dunkin Donuts on Massachusetts Avenue in Back Bay. Upon arrival, the officer learned that two suspects had fled the area and were traveling in a blue Toyota Corolla, one of whom was reportedly carrying what was believed to be a black firearm, according to Boston police.

Police later located the vehicle in the area and, after pulling the car over, identified the occupants of the vehicle, a man and a woman, as the alleged suspects involved in the robbery, according to the report.

After further investigation, police learned that the male suspect allegedly threw a gun, a wig, a sweater and a hat out of the car's window, all of which the officers recovered after the motor vehicle stop, according to the report.

Police arrested and charged Jose Novoa, 48, of Dorchester and Rochelle Graham, 43, of Holbrook with armed robbery of a chain store, according to the report.
