Suspect Sought in Eastern Bank Robbery

Police are looking for tips from anyone who recognizes him from the surveillance footage.

Police are searching for the man who passed a note to a teller at Eastern Bank at 155 Dartmouth Street, and fled on food with $2,000 in a Dunkin' Donuts bag Monday afternoon.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’07,  mid 20′s, with a dark grey knit cap, black sunglasses, dark sweatshirt, dark undershirt with print, dark sweatpants, bright sneakers and a white and pink knit glove.

The call came in to police just at 1:47 p.m. The suspect did not show any weapon, and all bank employees were safe and denied medical attention.

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force was notified of the incident and is actively investigating the facts and circumstances.
