New Boston Police Class Responded to Marathon as Cadets

Fifty-five academy graduates were sworn in as Boston Police officers Tuesday but for one, it was particularly special after responding following the Boston Marathon bombing attacks in April, according to the WCVB-TV report you can watch above.

Ryan Connelly and his fellow cadets responded to the scene of the Marathon bombings while is mother, Michelle, was near the finish line and was concussed by one of the bomb blasts.
