Police: Two Charged with Breaking into Back Bay Garage

Man and woman are alleged to have broken into Beacon Street cars.

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions. 

A couple was charged with breaking into cars in the Back Bay over the weekend. 

Boston Police Officers responded to a breaking and entering in progress at about 3:40 a.m. on Sunday, July 14 near 330 Beacon Street.

Boston Police received a call earlier that morning about a man and a woman attempting to break into cars in the area.

Officers arrived on the scene and saw a light coming from a partially opened garage door at the rear of 416 Beacon Street. Officers went inside the garage and saw a woman inside one of the cars and a man standing behind another.

The residents told police that the garage door is always closed and that the suspects had to open it in order to get to the vehicles.

Officers arrested Hillary Dudley of 832 Huntington Ave., and Martin Solivan of 444 Harrison Ave. and charged them with breaking and entering and breaking and entering a motor vehicle.
